APPLICATION: S.S hoses are used where ever other conventional rubber or P.T.F.E – Flexible hose can not be used, e.g. high temperature hydraulic oils, steam, chemicals, corrosive liquids, gases, compressed air & pneumatic liner, cryogenic application, food & beverage, nuclear plants, chemical corrosive liquids, fluid associated with high temperature and high pressure in paper plants. Tyre moulds, air conditioning plants, textile machinery steam-conveying, power houses, oil refineries and toxic application etc.
CONSTRUCTION STANDARD: Corrugated metal hose made with close pitch digular corrugation from butt-welded tube can be reinforced by one or two metallic wire braids (SS 304 & SS 316).
TEMPERATURE RANGE:
59 degree C to 800 degree C
1.1.b PTFE Teflon Hose
APPLICATION: P.T.F.E hose has an excellent temperature characteristics both in high and low temperature, excellent chemical resistance, non-contamination properties, low coefficient of friction and resists deterioration. Therefore the hose is used generally in applications where all or one of the above properties is the main criteria.
STANDARD: SAE J517 – 100R14
CONSTRUCTION: Core: Sintered tube of polytetrafluoroethelene (P.T.F.E).
REINFORCEMENT: Single braid of 303/304 series of stainless steel wire.
TEMPERATURE RANGE:
Continuous: 54 degree C to 260 degree C
